Your Outdoor Space Deserves to Feel as
Welcoming as the Life Happening Inside It
Whether it's your front entry, your back patio, or the porch where you take your morning coffee, the spaces outside your home matter. They are the first impression guests see and the last thing you look at before you head inside after a long day. When those spaces look tired, neglected, or just "not quite right," it is hard to feel proud of your home, even when everything inside is exactly as you want it. You should not have to be a horticulturist to have beautiful planters. That is where I come in.
Hello! I'm Mariah.
A Charleston native and the owner of Blooming Branch Design here in Summerville. For the past seven years, I’ve worked with plants and studied what makes outdoor spaces feel beautiful, welcoming, and truly cared for. I’ve learned that, more often than not, it starts at the front door.
I created Blooming Branch Design for homeowners and businesses who want their outdoor spaces to feel effortless, intentional, and beautifully maintained through every season. I love taking a space that feels a little unfinished and turning it into something that feels thoughtfully put together, without the guesswork, stress, or weekend trips to the garden center.
As a certified horticultural professional, I bring both horticultural expertise and personal attention to every project. I’m particular about the details, thoughtful about the plants I choose, and genuinely enjoy creating designs that feel like they belong in their space.
At the end of the day, I believe the best outdoor spaces don’t just look beautiful. They make you feel good when you come home. Because your home should look like someone lives there beautifully, and that someone is you.
If you are ready for outdoor spaces that feel cared for in every season, I would love to connect.
